On November 11, 2024, TANLAP conducted a specialized training session for 56 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) focused on the legal frameworks governing local government elections and the overall electoral process. The training aimed to empower CSOs with in-depth knowledge of the laws and regulations that ensure fair, transparent, and effective election procedures. Participants gained insights into the electoral process from a legal perspective, equipping them to better support their communities with accurate information and to advocate for democratic practices during the upcoming elections.

This training underscores TANLAP’s commitment to fostering informed and engaged communities, ultimately contributing to a more transparent and participatory election process in Tanzania.
